CIERRA CALMEISE
2024 Neiman Marcus Group x FSF and Virgil Abloh "Post Modern" Scholar
Cierra Calmeise is a recent 2025 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's in arts & sciences. Calmeise has always been taught to explore the unknown. With experience in Fine Arts and attending visual art programs since childhood, her story began in animation, taking pride in storytelling and immersing the target audience in another world. Her work is not just one aesthetic but takes pride in molding and shifting to gain knowledge and advance her skillset.
While at the University of Cincinnati and studying abroad in Florence, Italy, Calmeise mastered skills in fashion illustration, denim, textile design, knitwear, Clo 3D, Adobe Creative Cloud, sewing and pattern construction.
From assisting as a costume designer, leading multiple departments at H&M and working as a design assistant for multiple brands, Calmeise is able to dip her toe in multiple fields gives me the strength and knowledge to grow as a designer. She is passionate about sustainability, world building and bringing visions to life.
